Melber Flinn

Rachel Silverwood

In 2003 she joined Veredus, to help them grow their new Public Sector Interim Management offering. Most of the 11 years there were spent leading and developing the Health Interim Management team to become one of the most successful in the country at the time. She enjoyed huge success during this period as the market grew exponentially.

Whilst at Veredus, Rachel got married, moved back to Yorkshire and had twins. These life-changing events that made her re-think her priorities. So, after 11 years there she was looking for a change and joined a small start-up based in London where she worked for a year and a half. In August 2015 she decided to take some time out of work to spend more time with the children.

Around this time Rachel contacted Steve, who was just setting up Melber Flinn and in March 2016 started working with him on an ad hoc basis, helping to source candidates for roles when he was out attending meetings.

Rachel came on board permanently in 2017, she focuses on corporate support functions for provider organisations, aswell as leading on requirements across all areas in commissioning and system transformation vehicles.

Rachel started her recruitment career in 1998 at Hays Accountancy Personnel, recruiting temporary qualified accountants into a wide range of public sector organisations in central London.
